The industry and market working group is one of the main subgroups of the special headquarters for the development of nano and micro technology, which was created with the aim of encouraging the industries to use nano technology and supporting them in this direction. The main approach of this working group is to familiarize the country’s industries with the applications of nanotechnology and facilitate the technology transfer process from research centers and domestic technology companies to industrial applicants.
The target industries in the programs of this working group are as bellow:
· Huge industries, including oil and energy, pharmaceuticals, automobiles, steel, etc., which are often owned by the government.
· Private industries in all industrial fields, if they apply for the use of nano technology.
The main activities of this working group are as follows:
1- Special missions: which are specifically aimed at responding to a social and economic need or taking advantage of a technological opportunity, and include 13 missions in targeted industries.
1- Demand-oriented: in this approach, based on the requests and needs of industrial applicants, such as solving problems related to production or improving product quality, by the industry and market working group, technologies that can be presented to the industry are introduced to the applicants and support measures to solve Action is needed.
2- Modeling: In order to properly use and exploit the potential of technologists in various industrial fields and produce better quality products or new products, written programs that have stages of commercialization and industrial production of nano products are compiled and implemented. The industrial and technological fields as well as the nano technology exchange network are being pursued.
