evaluation-and-monitoring

The Nano Technology Products Evaluation and Monitoring Group was established in 2007 with the support of the Nano and Micro Technologies Development Headquarters. Its primary goals are:

  1. Improving the quality of nano products
  2. Increasing consumer confidence in nano products
  3. Creating transparency in the nano products market

Mission and Activities

The group’s mission is to evaluate nano products, monitor their scale stability and properties, and grant nanoscale certification to approved products. The most important activities carried out by this unit include:

  1. Granting nanoscale certification to industrial companies producing nano-based products
  2. Granting trial approval to start-up companies producing nano-based products
  3. Cooperating with other licensing institutions, such as the Food and Drug Organization and the Ministry of Agriculture, to evaluate nano products
  4. Monitoring the market of nano-based products
  5. Following the programs outlined in the Nano Metrology Development Document
  6. Conducting training courses related to the Nano Metrology Development Document

By carrying out these activities, the Nano Technology Products Evaluation and Monitoring Group aims to ensure the quality, safety, and transparency of nano products in the market, thereby increasing consumer trust and promoting the responsible development of nanotechnology.
