The Technology Development and Innovation Group was established within the Nano and Micro Technologies Development Headquarters to support the growth of start-up businesses.

Key Stakeholders

This group serves two main audiences:

  • Supply Parties: This includes technologists, start-up companies, researchers, and the academic community.
  • Demand Parties: This includes innovation centers, technology accelerators, independent and venture investments, and industrial companies.

Programs and Support

To assist in the development of technology and products for start-ups, the group has designed and is implementing several programs and support structures. These programs are divided into two main stages:

  1. Pre-Prototype Stage:
    • Validation and Foundation Support Programs: These programs help start-ups validate their ideas and establish a solid foundation for their businesses.
  2. Post-Prototype Stage:
    • Industrialization Center: This offers tailored support to meet the specific needs of start-ups. Services include:
      • Forming teams to attract investment
      • Providing contracts for production using semi-industrial platforms
      • Access to shared workspaces and industrial facilities

International Growth

In addition to supporting local start-ups, the group also implements various programs aimed at facilitating the international growth of emerging technologies and start-up businesses. By providing these resources and support, the Technology Development and Innovation Group aims to foster innovation and help start-ups thrive in a competitive market.
